Drill

Drill was a poetry magazine that ran for seven issues from 2002-2006.  While it was in operation, it served as a space of publication for an emerging community of writers primarily centered around Buffalo, NY.  The idea behind Drill was to represent the work of our particular community of poets and to use the publication to find out what other younger poets were writing.  The publication was terminated after its 7th issue to make space for a diversity of magazines produced by House Press, including Spell and A String of Small Machines edited out of Chicago by Michael Slosek, Eric Unger, Luke Daly, and Barrett Gordon.

Spell

Under the editorial direction of Eric Unger, Spell is a print journal dedicated to emerging work of poetry with a special attention to visual artforms and sound poetry. Mr. Unger wants Spell to be place where artists attempt new and developing forms or work. Submissions for Spell 2 are to be sent to eric.unger@gmail.com by June 20.
